I recently reviewed the Razer Imperator 2012 and compared it to my dead Deathadder. it felt good in gaming(FPS game to be exact) as I already adjusted with it but the small cursor jump bug isn’t fix yet(honestly I don’t think this will be fixed by Razer) and that mattered to me so I looked for a much cheaper but effective gaming mouse. I stumbled on the Logitech G400 gaming mouse in our local gaming store Datablitz. Of coarse I don’t just jump in and buy, a little research and I found out that this is a successor to the legendary Logitech MX518 mouse. I never use that mouse before but judging from the gamers feedback it was indeed a good mouse. I also found out that there are 2 versions of G400 and most gamers who wants this are looking for the v2 which the angle snapping was removed. Now what is angle snapping? Sorry for being a noob but I don’t even know but I just joined the bandwagon and make sure that I have the v2/angle snapping removed revision. You will know if you have the v2 if the PID is LZ13333 and above or if you really want to be 100% sure then look for the serial number and no PIDs. Just look under the box for PID/serial number(a déjà vu back then when I was looking for a Jasper Xbox). Anyway enough of the little background and hints let’s go to the review.
First thing I noticed was it’s a big mouse, bigger than Imperator. I needed another adjustment but it didn’t took that long and it felt natural and comfortable. Driver is easy to install and software can easily be configured to your preferences. Playing it if Battlefield 3 and damn it is so good without any issues. For browsing/work, no cursor jump like the Razer Imperator. To make it short, this is a simple perfect mouse. The only cons I can see is the hardware itself like the cable is thin, no led light(doesn’t matter to me), the buttons on the left side and scroll feels like a bit cheap BUT never let this stop you from getting this mouse! Those are just a minor issues and it will not bother your overall experience.
To sum it up, Logitech G400 is one of the best mouse at a very good price. I’ve been using this more often than Imperator. If you have the money to spend, there are tons of expensive and good mouse out there but if you are tight on budget I highly recommend this mouse.
Howdy fellow RE fans, excited for Resident Evil 6? So am I! For those can’t get enough on Resident Evil 6 and want to make it as a desktop wallpaper, I gathered the best Resident Evil 6 wallpapers in HD. 1920 x 1080 resolution to be exact. I just want to share this because I had a hard time collecting these wallpapers without being redirected to a website just to realize that it was just a front and that wallpaper doesn’t exist(It’s a trap). I also found some Resident Evil 6 wallpapers but most were low resolutions, badly edited/photoshoped or even watermarked by the creator/editor to take credits. Jeez, I just want a clean, simple and if possible official wallpaper without those watermarks or badly edited wallpapers. So I want you to save time on looking for 1920 x 1080 resolution for Resident Evil 6 wallpapers. Download them now!
And add me up on PSN ihenshin if you want to play coop with me on Resident Evil 6.
P.S. Don’t miss Resident Evil: Damnation CG movie. A worthy sequel to Resident Evil: Degeneration.
The famous RE 6 logo, featuring a giraffe being… If you know what I mean.
My personal favorite Resident Evil 6 wallpaper! One word, awesome.
Very first Resident Evil 6 wallpaper but never gets old!
For the first time, Leon and Cris met on a Resident Evil game. Did you touch my sister Claire?
Not so cool RE wallpaper, but at least it’s 1980 x 1080 HD resolution
My PSN account wallet is currently depleted and I want to buy Zen Pinball 2 Plants vs. zombies table(your argument is invalid, plus you can import the tables you bought from PS3 in PS Vita). Game store is quite far and I am lazy to go out so I Googled “buy psn US online”. I landed at pcgamesupply.com, of course I checked their reputation and feedback first just to be sure it is safe and customers are satisfied. Aside from PSN(all regions available), they also have Xbox Live, iTunes, PC games and all transactions and code delivery is done online. This is good for those who wants a PSN/Xbox Live card code immediately and for us lazy ones. Personally, I prefer the physical games with disc, miscellaneous papers and case so I will skip the buying PC games online. Plus PC games here in the Philippines are much cheaper if you buy at Datablitz store.
So I tried to order a $20 PSN card via credit card. You need to activate your account first via telephone or SMS. After a few minutes my order status was Canceled/Reversed, I am not sure why but I know I was not charged anything since transaction was not completed. So I tried again via Paypal and it was finally approved. My PSN code arrived in less than 10 minutes. Awesome!
I can verify that pcgamesupply.com is safe, fast and hassle free to buy PSN or Xbox Live Card via online code delivery.

After years of service, my Razer Deathadder 3500 shows sign of aging. It double clicks most of the time! It still works fine in Battlefield 3 but when I’m working or browsing, you’ll curse it for closing apps behind another window or selecting text all by itself. So I guess it is time to change it. My candidates were another Razer Deathadder but this time the Black Edition, the Razer Imperator 4G and the SteelSeries Sensei. I ended up with Razer Imperator 4G, I will have a quick review.
I’ll be frank, I don’t care much about how high DPI is or other useless features it offer. My only concern is how comfortable it is, the two buttons on the side for quick a copy paste and most importantly it works smoothly and my Razer Deathadder delivered that perfectly. The Razer Imperator 4G looks and feels good but in terms of comfort, my smallest finger feels a bit awkward. Maybe I need a little more time to get use to it. My biggest complain to the Razer Imperator 4G is the small cursor jump bug mostly when I click while surfing the internet or browsing folders. I didn’t noticed this yet while playing Battlefield 3. I did my research before buying and I already read this issue from the first Imperator until the latest 4G 2012 version but I said “hey let’s try it myself, maybe it’s just a random problem“. I researched for fixes, downloaded the latest driver and firmware, disabled the acceleration and surface calibration and tried different polling rate but the cursor jump bug is still there. Damn it Razer! I really don’t want to believe what other people say about Razer in terms of quality built and easily gets broken but now I’m having doubts.
Bottomline is, unless this cursor jump bug gets fix skip the Imperator and go for any Deathadder Black Edition/3500 or any other mouse brand that offers a solid gaming mouse without any problems.
My current Imperator settings hoping to fix the click jump bug
Just a quick update for Vita owners, Killzone: Mercenary was officially announced in Gamescon 2012. I’m excited! Killzone franchise is one of my favorite in Playstation 3. I’m waiting for Killzone 4 but I think this news will do for now. The Helghast army are the coolest and most bad ass looking suit I’ve ever seen.
I really hope this won’t end up like Resistance: Burning Skies for Vita. This was one of Playstation’s flagship games. I even bought it day one and on day one I already platinum it and now it is collecting dust. Singleplayer was a disappointment but multiplayer has plenty of fun but I think it wasn’t worth it.
I got faith on Guerrilla Games, I hope they won’t butchered this one and make the gameplay satisfying. Prequel, sequel or spinoff I don’t care. Just make it awesome like Uncharted: Golden Abyss. PS Vita players are hungry for a shooter games due to its dual analog. I’m looking forward to Killzone: Mercenary. I might skip Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified since it will be from Nihilistic again but never say never. Reviews might turn out good.
Killzone: Mercenary don’t have an exact release date yet. For the meantime check the Gamescon 2012 reveal trailer below. At the end of the trailer a short actual gameplay is shown and it looks really sweet!
After last year’s Modern Warfare 3 versus Battlefield 3 multiplayer debate, I ended up with BF3 for PC and boy it was a decision I never regretted. Gameplay and DX11 graphics really caught my attention plus the 64 players in one massive shootout. I knew Modern Warfare was more successful in sales compared to its competition but you cannot overlooked Battlefield 3 as it sold very well too. To be honest I never played any Call of Duty multiplayer and my info about the multiplayer is almost non-existent. I’m not even aware how many players can play online. I only beat the singleplayer of each franchise and move on. On Bad Company 2 and Battlefield 3 it was the opposite as I only played the multiplayer and skipped both campaigns. Either you are a COD or BF3 player, both are still played 24/7 by a lot of gamers around the world including me. I even bought Premium for BF3, still worth it in my opinion.
This year, FPS players have to make another decision which to side(or just skip two) when Call of Duty Black Ops 2 and Medal of Honor Warfighter arrives. Both trailers and gameplay are really promising.
First on our plate is Call of Duty: Black Ops II. I’m not so sure about the jumping to the future approach of Black Ops but I think it is a bold move to stir up a little in the Call of Duty franchise. They are not afraid to make some changes and you have to give Treyarch a credit for that. I’m glad it didn’t have to go with laser guns like Halo have. I hate pew pew guns! Maybe that is why I’m not a fan of it. Speaking of Halo, the 4th sequel is also coming out this year but I think it doesn’t fit the Black Ops 2 versus MOH Warfighter because it is only exclusive to Xbox. It belongs to console wars category. Check the multiplayer trailer for Black Ops 2 and see the highlights of gameplay and new futuristic weaponry of your disposal.
Now let us take a look what Medal of Honor Warfighter has to offer. For gameplay, nothing much is new unlike what Black Ops 2 did. In my opinion it really looks like a Battlefield 3.5 in preparation for Battlefield 4 next year. Not to mention luring the Battlefield fans to buy Warfighter just to get in the beta. I know they said it is not the only way to get into the Battlefield 4 beta. Maybe beta code invites in other games or contest but come on who are we kidding. It is a nice marketing strategy. Anyway, that Frostbite 2 engine is really jaw dropping. We saw what Frostbite can do in Battlefield 3 so for graphics whore and PC gamers with high-end specifications I know they(including me) will consider this.
This year I’m looking forward to get the Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 for PC simply because I want to try what Call of Duty multiplayer is all about but I won’t say this is my final decision though. I’m really curious why Call of Duty is called the king of FPS games when Bad Company 2 and Battlefield 3 are games I considered to be the best multiplayer already. Warfighter comes first before Black Ops so players have time to check reviews and feedbacks. My friends decision which game to get might affect as well. Playing with your friends and killing them with a knife satisfies me!
Ahh… A new Facebook notification. Let us see who landed on our profile or tag us. After click, “[friend name] sent you a request in [insert retard app/game name here]“. F*ck!
We’ve all been there, we all have these annoying Facebook app and game invites and sometimes it drives us to a point that we want to flip a table literally or go directly to that person’s house and slap the hell out of the sender. As much as people hate Facebook timeline, the blocking of apps and games are easier than before so I guess that is a plus to us using timeline.
To block a friend app or game invites, follow the easy steps below.
On your account, go to Privacy Settings
On privacy Settings, Facebook now has an option Blocked People and Apps. Click Manage Blocking.
From there you can block either the person who keeps on sending invites(not block the person totally, just any invitations and yes you are still friends on Facebook) or the name of the app or games that keeps on popping out
Type the name of friend in Block invites from or name of app in Block apps
It’s been awhile since I use my Microsoft Xbox 360 Wireless Gaming Receiver for Windows. Now that I freshly formatted my newly upgraded PC and still need to catch up with Assassins Creed franchise(lazy me), I decided to plug the wireless receiver to my Windows 7 64 bit. When I plugged the wireless receiver, the default driver did not automatically installed. Like you, I Googled for a driver and solutions.
First I checked was the Device Manager > the properties for the receiver > Update driver > search automatically or the other option browse my computer for drivers > let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer > default controller driver. It installed successfully so I thought it will now work but it doesn’t. My controller and receiver won’t sync. Geesh.
So finally I found the correct solution. Just follow the steps below.
YOU NEED Internet Explorer not any other browser(Microsoft loves their own browser)
Search something like “xbox wireless”, then it will return results.
Download the latest version or last updated of Microsoft – Game Devices, Other hardware – Xbox 360 Wireless Receiver for Windows by clicking add
View basket then download.
Extract file then try again the Device Manager > the properties for the receiver > Update driver > browse my computer for drivers > let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer > select where you extracted the file
After the drivers were installed, try to sync the receiver and xbox controller. Voila!
